Chrissy Henderson

Ms. Chrissy Henderson has been a faculty member of Bright Academy almost since the founding of the school in 2013. She has a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Mobile College and has been impacting the lives of children for 22 years in both the public and private school settings. She has taught various grade levels, served on Accreditation Committees, Building Leadership Teams, and served as an elementary track coach, soccer coach, as well as middle school cheer coach.

Since joining the staff at Bright Academy, Ms. Chrissy has continued her education through Brainspring and Neuhaus, completing programs that help teachers work with dyslexic learners and also various math multi-sensory and enrichment programs. At Bright Academy, she has served as classroom teacher and Assistant Principal. Ms. Chrissy currently serves in the role of Strategic Partnerships Officer, Event Coordinator, Administration Assistant, and Fundraising Chair.
